Objective:

Elders Social Committee

Objective:

To gather our Elders together via the coordination of enriching events that enhance the quality of life of Batchewana Band Members.

Land Assertions Committee

Objective:

To work with Chief and Council to identify, education and communicate our land and assertion issues to Batchewana First Nation Members & the public.

Community Planning Committee

Objective

This is a combination of Rankin, Goulias, and Obadjiwon Planning Committees. Two people from each community to make recommendations to Chief and Council on programs, service initiatives in all our communities.

L.N.H.L./RecreationFundraising Committee

Objective:

To raise funds for LNHL Teams and/or recreation events for the community.

Natural Resource Advisory Group

Objective

To provide input to Natural Resource Department and Chief and Council about policy development in logging, fishing, mining, etc. as it relates to the First Nation.

Economic Development Committee

Objective:

To provide Economic Development Advice to Chief and Council to actively pursue projects that will benefit all BFN Members in the present and future. Please submit a resume and qualifications to sit on this committee.

Six (6) Members will be required for each committee or working group.
