Cst. Ann Tegosh alongwith Anichinabek Police Service Sgt. Karen Bell and student Reanne Williams/Jones and OPP Officer Kevin Yun and Cadets Nicholas Beith and Micheal Bruni attended the Batchewana Learning Centre to conduct a "Bike Safety" Presentation to the BFN Daycamp children on the 08th day of July, 2009.

We had 30 children in attendance.  a big THANK YOU to the officers for assisting us in making this presentation a great success.

The Daycamp children listened attentively while the officers provided safety tiips regarding hand signals, helmet usage, and various road rules.  A video on bike safety was also provided.

The Daycamp children were awarded a new helmet, donated by the BFN Health Centre.

Special thanks to Albert Sewell for allowing us to use his "air pump" as we conducted safety checks on the bikes to ensure the tires were inflated properly and ensured that the bike was in working order.
